The second-generation Toyota Noah was released in 2007. The first generation was released for sale in 2001 as the successor to the Toyota Townace Noah. It competed with the Honda StepWGN, the Mazda Biante, and the Nissan Serena.
It featured a body style that had transitioned into a more family-pleasing exterior with increased interior space and improved engine and fuel economy performance.
The second-gen also saw the introduction of Toyota’s G-Book navigation system, Intelligent Parking Assist, rotating second row seats, and dual temperature control with a pollen removal system.
The exterior took on a more well-rounded and aggressive style. Toyota improved Noah’s handling using MacPherson struts with coil springs and stabilizers in the front and a torsion beam in the rear.
Under the bonnet, the power of the second-generation Noah features either a 2.0-liter 3ZR-FAE or a 3ZR-FE engine. The engines feature Dual VVT-i (Dual Variable Valve Timing-intelligent) and Valvematic continuously variable valve lift structure.
